All of the photo sessions are held by Kyriacos Arkatites, EFIAP/b.
Kyriacos Arkatites is an internationally award winning photographer and one of Cyprus most recognized artistic photographers. He currently holds the EFIAP/b title (Excellence FIAP - Bronze distinction) awarded by FIAP (Federation International of Artistic Photography) for his outstanding work at international level.
Kyriacos has been creating beautiful works of photographic art for his clients and friends since 1997. Servicing the Nicosia area and, for special occasions the whole Cyprus, Kyriacos photographs babies, children and families on location using 100% natural light.
"I am passionate about photography. And I love children. Hey, I have three (plus five baby cats and two birds)! So combining the two is a fantasy to me. I absolutely adore what I do. I am always surrounded by love, whether it be newborn squeaks, baby curiosity, laughing families…I can’t get enough of it all! Nothing makes me happier than capturing that love in a portrait that will be treasured for a lifetime.
It would be an honor to be invited to capture the life of your family."
Here is a very brief glimpse in the past. In 1998, Kyriacos presented “Splash”, his first personal and first pancyprian exhibition on digital photography. At the same time, he presented a unique style of digital photography in a children’s book “Bloom”, which he published in cooperation with a well-known writer. While gaining great reviews, the book introduced a unique kind of illustration, i.e. mythical worlds by merging photography with paint art.
Since then, Kyriacos has at least 350 photographs accepted in international salons, in more than 30 countries around the world. He has won many awards and distinctions in numerous photo contests in Cyprus and abroad. After a request by the International Photography Museum of Cerdanyola, Spain, he donated selected photographs in the contemporary section of the museum. In parallel, he has served for many years in the Board of Cyprus Photographic Society. Lately, he is being invited to join the panel of judges in local and international photographic contests.
FIAP awarded Kyriacos Arkatites his first international photographic title, AFIAP (Associate FIAP) in 2003, four years later the title EFIAP (Excellence FIAP) and in 2010 his current special distinction of EFIAP/b (Excellence FIAP – Bronze distinction).
Under special requests, Kyriacos also holds private photography workshops for amateur photographers, as well as workshops on the most professional photo editing software, Adobe Photoshop for photographers.
