Funky hats, boots and other accessories are fantastic. However, he does ask that you shy away from any clothing with name brands, pictures, or words on them, which can detract from the child and give the photographs a dated look. If you prefer a classic feel, simple plain clothing can also provide a timeless look. This option is also best for parents, if family photos are to be taken. You are welcome (and encouraged!) to bring several different wardrobe changes to give your session a bit of variety. For family photographs, Kyriacos recommends dressing everyone in clothes that compliment each other. For example, you might dress everyone in creams, greens, and browns, or some other complimenting color scheme. He asks that you try to avoid dressing everyone in the same color, which can look unnatural. Feel free to have along anything you might want to photograph with your child.
